چکیده
STX (Streaming Transformations for XML) ist eine Transformationssprache, die als schnelle und speicherschonende Alternative zu XSLT entworfen wurde. STX weist gewisse syntaktische Ähnlichkeiten zu XSLT auf, arbeitet jedoch auf einem Strom von SAX-Events und transformiert diesen unmittelbar in einen entsprechenden Ergebnis-Strom. STX-Transformationen können auf diese Weise unter anderem als SAX-Filter eingesetzt werden.
